Jeff Layton, North American painter born in 1956.
I strive to express a creative idea onto an organic two-dimensional surface using colored pigments through brush and pen. I call this a painting. A painting wants a home. It wants to be looked at. A painting is given life through your eyes. It is an artifact created from consciousness waiting to join your consciousness in a mysterious dance through neural nets. It's an old school, it's a new school, it is school. Greek word for school: skhole: bonded together by shared principles - consciousness.
