Title: Kashmir
Kashmir song by Led Zeppelin. I first listened to it 49 years ago. This painting is about consciousness and the role music plays in it. Kashmir’s repeating main riff pulls and shifts a willing participant's consciousness. Some key lines I focused on in the song are:
  • Let the sun beat down upon my face.
  • I'm a traveler of both time and space.
  • To sit with elders of the gentle race (The three old rock musicians).
  • As the sun burns the ground.
  • Yellow desert stream.
  • All I see turns to brown.
